Now that the ratings show the Republican debate on Fox, as the most watched debate thus far... Do you think it was a mistake for the Democrats to refuse to appear on the network?

If FOX has a more conservative viewership than the other networks then yes they have. I think it is in their best interest to share their views and ideas with those that may not be in their base. I know there is fear of upsetting some of the far left bloggers but in the long run it can only help their campaigns..........

Yes it was a mistake. I am an independent and watch fox. I didn't even watch the debates, because it is to early to be concerned about primaries.

Not a mistake by the Dems at all. They do not need Fox to get their message out. If you were a Dem would you trust that Fox would do any message you deliver justice? It is a given that they wouldn't, Fox is not a news channel, it is a political commentary channel and we all know to which side they heavily lean.

No, they didn't make a mistake. It would have been a mistake to change their minds about it, which would give the Republicans one more opportunity to use one of their favorite slander terms - flip floppers. The Democratic Party loses nothng in light of this, they are still the favorites.

EDIT: As a side note, no I don't think Romare owes gayconservative an apology, she's right on point with that one. Being a gay conservative makes about as much sense as being a Jew for Jesus. Sorry, just my opinion.

Sadly the Dem's are afraid of the far left. At this point there are no real debates anyway, on either side. They do not answer the questions asked and no one challenges what they say Peace

There would be some tough questions on Fox and they still haven't had time to memorize their lies that would make people want to buy into the Democrat plan. Such as universal health care, socialism, big government and how they would immediately bring the troops home and lower taxes. Ha!

take a seem on the living house elections and the gubenatorial races previously you declare that "the Dems gained by ability of a seat". The Senate is an extremely entrenched physique and not a great indicator of political momentum. the shown fact that the Dems beat out human beings like Santorum, a poster boy for the fundamendalist Republican top is as muchand indicator as Webb, a average Democrat beating Allen, a Bush rubber stamp. individuals are bored with Rebublican ideologues and we've been witness to that for the period of 2006.

Certainly it was. We didn't need to wait for the ratings. Why do you think Obama does not allow the press to travel in the same plane or bus with him? He, like the other Dem candidates, are pre-packaged and cannot handle anything spontaneous.
