I am single mom-to-be and would like to find a website that donates clean baby clothes to help single moms, or is there anyone willing to send some to me that their children have out grown thank you.

freecycle (online) is a great for all kinds of donations. Also, try the local churches that advertise a nursery for their services. Ask to speak to the pastor or educational director.

Any antiabortion group or "crisis pregnancy" center should be good for clothes and maybe some other help. They're often accused of not caring about the child once it's born and would probably like to refute the charge.

Do some searching in your area and you might be surpised what you find!

Check out local charities, goodwill, salvation army, local non- profit organizations, Amer. Red cross chapters, YMCA, etc, etc. Local health department is a good place to start also.

You can also apply for WIC (women, infants, & children). Not sure about the specifics, but it helps you get groceries.

Most of all, just don't be afraid to ask for help! If you're willing to do some leg work, you can find lots of resources for you and your baby!

Good luck!

In my area, there is a baby swap three times a year where mothers can drop off/pick up baby clothes. There may be something similar in your area...
Also, I can imagine a thrift store being a wonderful place to shop for inexpensive baby clothes.

In our area they have what they call MOPS, moms of pre schoolers, where they have sales. Clothes are next to nothing. And usually last day of the sale most items are half off. We have found some GREAT BARGAINS. You just have to know the better areas to go to.
