Was this done before or after their break up? you really didn't say. Artists can be pretty quirky but perfect in their own right. So, it depends on who's binoculars you are looking through. She dug the guy when it was done, and now she is with you. It will only bother you if you let it and you know she is not in love with him anymore. Tattoo's can be altered, removed, morphed or ignored. Is is worth letting her go over? Think about that...

I mean you will be on the beach in your bikini and you bend over to do up one of your esperdrills and the ex's face will pop out from behind the bottoms and wink at him.

I think so...I'm only gonna see the tattoes if im doing the doggie style. If they are a problem, laser removal is always an option.
Maybe she just wants to remember them for what they were........ A S S holes. hehehe (sorry, that was so bad)

i'm sorry to say this but no who ever tattooed their butt with their ex-face means that she really loved him and whos crazy to do that in the first place that's forsure thats got to hurt.
