Ok gettin a bit of the whole McCann escapades, so gonna try and tickle everyones racial bones..

I encountered this article on a Switzerland political party campaign on immagration.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/6980766.stm

Though quite a bold statement, with 3 white sheeps kickin a black sheep off a Swiss flag, i can't but think that critics are again are clinging onto the overblown prospect of political correctness. Personally i don't find this poster racist at all, and for one hope that the UK government is taking notes.

However as people may disagree with me, there is another side of the coin some have said that this is to close to the fascist ethnic's of the Nazi's, as the Swiss People's Party (sometimes known as the SVP) plan to present a new law that if your foreign and someone under 18 commits serious crime, your whole family get deported..

I just wondered what peoples thought were on this poster, and the proposed law??

No.
Black is a color.
That is a sheep.

I have a brain.

"black sheep" is widely known to mean the reject, the outsider. It's not racist, it is because black sheep are rare and they had bad wool. It's an idiom.

The people who think it is racist are the ones with the problem. They must have something lurking underneath that is making them jump to conclusions and suggesting it is to do with race.

I will need to go and read about the law but as for the poster it's clear.

They can't impose strict limits, in this Politicaly Correct loony bin we all live in there would be an immediate cry of "racists" from the human rights and equality organisations. You can tell how far down the highway of insanity we've gone by the opening sentence used by all politicians when broaching the subject of immigration "I'm not a racist"

Yes it has very obvious racist overtones in my opinion. A political party campaigning on immigration issues dream up a poster of three "white" kicking out a "black" . Yes they are sheep but this party knew exactly how to portray their message....

AS for the law of kicking out the family...no I disagree. Send home the perpetrator by all means , but it doesn`t necessarily follow that the whole family are undesirables.

Technically this poster is nationalist and not racist.
The argument is between Nationalists and Internationalists, also known as Globalists. What's wrong with a little American Nationalism?

Switzerland has some strange laws. The "immigrants" maybe 2nd or 3rd generation and they are still not citizen. And wont be ever. Women didn't get the vote there until 1971!

It reminds me strongly of the South Park episode where the flag shows white stick figures hanging a black stick figure.

"if your foreign and someone under 18 commits serious crime, your whole family get deported". That's simply vile. What about the minor fact that plenty of these family members will have been upstanding citizens who contribute to the economy? It is a load of BNP-style hysterical crap.

It's clearly racist and aimed at demonising immigrants. Frankly, only a fool or a knave would deny it.

The proposed law is also clearly discriminatory. If an under-18 commits a crime serious enough to warrant deportation, they need a decent social worker, not this kind of threat to their family.

Parents should take responsibility for what their children get up to and teach them the rights's and wrongs.I don't think this poster is meant to be racist it is just to let people no you must take responsibility for your children, if you dont you will face the same fate as them.

Blatantly racist towards sheep. Would have been worse if it showed cows kicking a black sheep out!
