i'm 13, and i've been told I'm a really good actress.
Ilive in missouri, so obviously there's not many acting opportunities.
I'd love to audition for things, but I cant just move out to california or anything.
so please, if anyone knows of anything, tell me please!

yeah, I'd like to know too. In Columbia a few times a year, they have open calls where people bring in head shots. It's at the Holiday Inn Executive Center.

Well, I hope you are indeed a good actress. There are plenty of acting opportunities in MO. Especially in KC and St. Louis., but in other places as well. So, if you have your parents' backing for you to be an actress (an absolute necessity since you cannot sign a contract until you are 18), and you want help, click on my name, read my profile and write me at my aol address for free help--ps, that thing in Columbia where you take in your photo to the Holiday Inn sounds like a scam.

what type of acting are you into? my suggestion would be to get involved in community theatre - i'm originally from kansas city and would reccommend theatre in the park, starlight, coterie, etc. do some research on where you live find out different venues for live stuff - get involved with the renaissance festival or shakespeare in the park - there's a ton of stuff in kc and stl. also, if you sing and dance definitely head down to branson.

if you're considering a more professional run at this - you need to selectively go to auditions in other places - chicago, texas, even california or new york if it seems good enough.

good luck!
