I never ever had a partner or a spouse. If I did, then I will always find a way to mess everything up, and there will never ever be a specific moment.

My daughter from a previous relationship needed surgery. Neurosurgery, to be precise. We stayed the day as she went into and got out of the OR. The surgery took over three hours, which was way longer than we had been told. She was four at the time. After we went home the next day, I went to work and my then girlfriend went to bed, since we hadn't gotten much sleep the night before. When I got home, I found her in bed, tear stains on her pillow, clutching one of my daughter's t-shirts, sound asleep. A voice in my head said to me, "If you let this one go, you're a fool". The rest is history. We've been married a little over eight years now, and she is the light of my life.

Actually,I was never really entirely sure until the third day of our honeymoon. We were up in a resort in Maine and woke up to find a bear staring in our window at 4 am. She didn't freak out or anything. On the contrary,she carefully picked up the camera ( it has an automatic flash for darkness) and took his picture. Scared the hell out of him and off he went. Great picture,too. That was the big moment for me. Besides,she's a great mom. She's my girlfriend,my partner,my best friend and she mothers me almost as much as she does the kids.

About a 2 weeks after we first met. I couldn't stop thinking about him, well I still can't. He is my bestfriend, lover, a great Dad, my other half, my soulmate. We have only known each other for 6 months but I know deep down in my soul he's the one I want for the rest of my life. We connect in ways I never thought imaginable.

when they say he it too you and you just know you have to say it back because you feel the same.
when a call text or thought of them makes you smile and you imagine realistic futures with them and you cant think of a future without them.
And no matter how bad an arguement is or how much they may annoy you you know really it doesnt matter.
Its a 5 year relationship and you still want more.
Its seeing yourself walking up the aisle and them waiting at the top.
Its wanting and feeling you need that ring on the finger, that house together, that family.
Its a lot of things. lol

Yes he was a Service Sponsored Civilian attached to the RAF and he got a posting to Aden for two years. I realised that the thought of being apart from him was too painful to contemplate.When he told me he said my face just crumpled. Luckily he felt the same and we got married before he went.!
