We did,but the city ordered it closed two years ago because of a few fights among teenagers. Wow. That's been a part of the drive-in experience as long as they've existed. Actually,i always thought they were kind of fun to watch for a bit. My dad used to take me to dusk-till-dawn theme features when I was a kid - all horror,or war,or westerns, etc. - and it was one of our best times together. I loved that old drive-in. It's still there, looking deserted and forlorn. It's sort of sad to drive by it,especially in the summer.

I do have a drive-in near my home, but all the ever show is garbage. Most of the movies have either been out of the theaters for weeks, or aren't doing very well in the box office records. I hardly ever go because of it.

I miss the days when drive-in's did things like, "costume nights," or "cruise-ins" with old cars, or even like "thriller fests" around Halloween time, and "classic movie night," you know, specialty stuff. But, it's all about the money now. Ours barely maintains their facilities at this point.

About 45 miles away. The first movie I saw was the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The last was the original Walking Tall.

We have about 5 in the surrounding areas. The closest being about a 30 minute drive the farthest about an hours drive, but they are worth the drive. So much better than a regular theater.

We did, but they tore it down earlier this year. Now we're getting Google. Seriously, they're building a big facility on the site where the drive in was. I miss it too... But do love google tho! lol

Yes...there are still two within about 1/2 hr from me. Unfortunately they make you buy their food or you have to pay $12 for a food pass to bring in your own food.

(we used to have an x-rated one nearby, but the neighborhood kids used to knock holes in the fence to watch.)

No, they are all closed down here in Chicago and turned into something else or torn down to make a parking lot. They became very unprofitable.
