Yahoo doesn't come right out and say it but don't you think this is the plan?

Sadly, I think there are some here who would wear it with pride. At least we'd know who they are.

Can you imagine the surprise for some when they get on Y!A for the first time that day and find that they've been honored with a new badge?

I wished they did do that.I stated on more than one occasion I press the flag when I see a violation and get much criticism about it.
If yahoo did this I'm sure it would expose many of the self proclaimed free speech advocates who criticize others for reporting abuse.
That would be wonderful.
I am and have always been for an end to anonymous reporting

Not me. The "Report It" thing would be fine - if only someone investigated the "report" and who / why the person was "reporting".

I’ve been doing some research and have found that almost any “answer” or "question" can be a violation.

Brilliant idea!!!

I did note that Yahoo will start to disreguard users who abuse the system...

But the stigma of being marked would be great.

That is hilarious! Boy a badge would let us know who's causing all the problems now wouldn't it

LOL.
Of course, some who may earn such an (dis)honor would falsely claim that they were merely red-flagging the trolls.

Not me, it would be impossible for me to get there. I'm not a liberal and if you check on this board, ONLY liberals get that distinction.
