Who can imagine a mother killing her own kid, but it happens every day all over the world.
The police think she's got something to do with it because various reasons.
Molecules that only dead bodies disperse have been found in the house (the kid was already dead there) and on the parents clothes (so they must have carried her after she died). There's been found blood traces in a car the parents rented. The story of the parents don't match the facts. They never went to check on their children before, and only the night of Madeline's supposedly disappearance, the mother went to "check" on them several times.
I hope they didn't do it, and that if they did it was a terrible accident, but it's pretty sure they're hiding something.

Its being said on the news that DNA matching Maddies was found in a hire car that wasnt hired until the child had been missing for 25 days.
Putting my thoughts and feelings on the matter aside, the relatives are up in arms that she's a suspect but yesterday it was claimed that kate and gerry wanted to be suspects to get added legal protection of some kind.
Often these crimes are commited by a person or persons who are very close to the victim. Its always seemed rather odd to me but the truth will out and if the poor child is dead or alive, I hope she has peace.

The dna results have resulted in Kate being made an arguido. Nobody know what the results show and nobody know what questions have been asked. That is how the Portuguese police operate.

A suspects blood found in the apartment in a place they shouldnt have been.
Cadaver dogs sniffed out the smell of a corpse on Kate's clothes.
I've just read this on a madelinemccann blogspot (link below) website and they are all taken from sky news, the bbc news and the daily mail
I think thats enough to prick anyones ears up

I dont think they are necessarily suggesting that she killed her child... what they are saying is that she may have had something to do with her disappearance. And the thing is, all this campaigning has brought her millions of pounds...
The police dont really have much on her I dont think. And the DNA results were negative as far as I know.

Kate McCann is a suspect, but she is now fearing that the police will eventually charge her with Madeleine's Accidental Death.

There were 12 specific questions that the police wanted to ask her and this was only possible under Portuguese law if they gave her suspect status.

The dogs detected a corpse scent on her clothes and on a soft toy.
Blood was found in the hire car that they hired AFTER Maddie supposedly disappeared.
Kate is now trying to claim that she wears those clothes to work (she's a GP and comes into contact with dead bods) and also carries the soft toy to work!
Can you imagine...........
A GP turns up for work and is asked to go out and certify a dead body. She trots off to the home and knocks on the door wearing casual clothes and clutching one of her kid's soft toys!
Yeah, sure she does ;-D

They found the girl's blood in a car that her mother rented about 20 days after they reported her missing. The police believe that she may have accidentally killed her daughter and then cooked up the story. That's what the news channels are reporting over here.
I wouldn't doubt it either!

she is a suspect because the police have absolutely nothing to go on and she is the easy target, the lead detective has also been accused of setting up a portugese woman whose 9 year old went missing without a trace and she is now in prison (allegedly falsely accused). they have nothing if the dna tests proved anything they would have been arrested and charged by now.
