The original Walt Disney feature that this longish cartoon was taken from is "Fun and Fancy Free". Released in 1947, it starred ventriloquist Edger Bergen, with his dummies Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd in the live-action framing story, presenting two long cartoons, "Mickey and the Beanstalk" (featuring Mickey, Donald Duck and Goofy) and "Bongo". Jiminy Cricket also appears in the framing story, singing a song that was originally to be used in "Pinocchio".
Both the full feature and the "Mickey and the Beanstalk" cartoon have been released on video and may well still be available.

If it's the one where Mickey at one point says, He killed 7 with one blow, meaning flies and they mistake that for meaning giants, Then It's called The Brave Little Tailor. Or similar to that.
