Not really a teen idol, but the first muscian that I ever really liked was John Denver. This was when he was at his peak in the early 70's. Thank God I'm A Country Boy, Grandma's Feather Bed, and Annie's Song were all over the radio at the time. I also had a big crush on Tennille from the Captain & Tennille. She was just the hottest lady this 6 year old had ever seen! Like I said, this was the EARLY 70's!!! And I was SIX.

Well, he was WAAAAAY past teen by the time I came around but my first idol would have been Elvis....I loved that man! Was only 7 when he died, but had been a huge fan for at least a couple of years (that I remember for sure) before that...
