No not all of them. Out of 10 men 8 are going to be pigs.

A decent guy would be the first to admit (especially if he has a daughter and wants to educate her) that MOST men are terrible, (dogs, pics, jerks whatever you prefer) he would probably even admit there was a time in his life when he was selfish and unkind or at least thoughtless toward women in general.... and perhaps even eachother..... but they usually grow out of it and then there are always the few who are the exception to the rule and would resent such a general insult to his very gender..... the rule would probably be if you hear such a comment and actually care what people (women) think about you, this comment doesn't include YOU.

No, I don't agree. I have plenty of great male friends who I respect and admire and don't think are "pigs."
However, I will say that more and more men tend to be disgusting jerks that I wouldn't want to associate myself with. I believe this is because our society and entertainment (music, movies, TV, magazines) promote this type of attitude and behavior as normal and expected, so men are generally encouraged to believe that they are supposed to behave this way.
Hopefully there are still a few nice men out there, because that is the kind of person I want to date and someday have a family with.

I think there are good and bad ppl in every sex, race, and religion.
I do not let categories or generalizations like "men are pigs" predetermine my friendships. Each individual person gets my respect and attention unless they do not treat me in-kind. I think I have a wonderful, diverse circle of friends and colleagues b/c of it.
