What kind of pain r u refering too? Physical pain- advil or soaking in a steaming hot bubble bath a;lways helps muscle pain. Its so relaxing! Emotional pain? Cry Cry and Cry some more! Crying relieves some of that pent up inner pain and I actually will feel a little better after I cry! Being around friends always helps with that too. If all else fails- VICODIN to the rescue!

try not to get too isolated
make sure to keep your friends and family closer to you
dont drink or use drugs (only makes it worse really)
go to work or school and on your free time if you find yourself feeling it really bad...go for a jog or brisk walk for 30-45 min
