Breastfeed. Absolutely best thing you can do. I have had 4 kids and weigh 5 lbs less now then I did 10 yrs ago after breastfeeding all of them. After initial weight loss, got my kids in a jogging stroller and rollerbladed around town. Rollerblading is excellent, easy exercise.

For me breastfeeding was enough to lose it all and then some. I lost all my baby weight in about 2 weeks. I gained 30 w/the pregnancy. You burn about 500 extra calories a day just breastfeeding--you just have to be very careful to eat healthy foods. I haven't really done any post-natal exercises but I did start doing crunches here and there when I was on the floor with the baby. It took about 10 months for my stomach to go back to normal and I definately think more crunches and core body strengthening exercises would've helped. Just go easy on yourself--it can take up to a year and a half to lose the weight (in a healthy way) and it's so hard having a newborn--just don't beat yourself up, eat healthy, and get some exercise--it'll come off.

I breastfed for 4 months, and in my experience it didn't really do anything to make me lose weight. They say you burn like 500 calories just breastfeeding, but you are supposed to be eating a bit more while you breastfeed anyway so it really cancels out.

I just drank a lot of water, and hired a trainer. I could only use the trainer for a few months (they are expensive!) but working out and eating right is what works. I gained 80lbs with my son, and I have lost 50 already and my son is 6 months.

Good luck, and I pray you don't gain as much as I did! :)

something comparable has got here about with me, yet no longer extremely as rapid as with you. i began off fairly slowly with my being pregnant weight benefit, or maybe though it picked up and that i gained approximately 20 lbs universal. when I gave delivery, i become nonetheless carrying the countless better weight for the 1st couple of months and then the burden basically started falling off. i'm breastfeeding besides. while my daughter become 6 months, i become in all risk a minimum of 20-25lbs decrease than when I have been given pregnant, and down a length or 2 in clothing. It bogged down slightly after that, yet i'm on the topic of the size i become in severe college now! I nonetheless experience as though i'm interior of a typical selection of weight, and that i wasn't obese in the previous, even though it is form of loopy as i did no longer think of i might ever be this length lower back. I characteristic a number of it to the breastfeeding, and a few to a reasonably greater healthy nutrition ordinary, eating a ton of water, and the traditional responsibilities of motherhood (with gentle exercising, like walks, etc...).
