I don't watch a huge amount of films, so the chances are I haven't seen what you'll suggest. I'm not picky when it comes to films, ususally I enjoy films most people rate 2-3 stars in imdb, haha. Can be about anything at all, just as long as its good :).

Thanks.

Memento--It's an amazing psychological thriller.
A Scanner Darkly -- Based on a Philip K. Dick novel. Again, it's a futuristic psychological thriller. You'd probably like it if you are into books like 1984 and Brave New World.
High Fidelity - It's about a middle age guy running a music store. He chronicles his life in a series of Top 5 lists. Based on the book by Nick Hornby.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - A love story...but not a sappy one. The couple have eachother erased from their minds after a break up and rediscover what made them fall for eachother. It's got more of a psychological twist to it.

One movie that I absolutely love is Boondock Saints. It's older, but it's WONDERFUL! It has a bunch of action and humor in it. It's about two Irish brothers. The whole movie takes place within a few days...makes it really interesting. If you want something sort of humorus I would recommend Shaun of the Dead...it's a spoof off of George Ramos original Zombie movies, but it was made in Britain. It's funny and it's nice to see a different cast of people other than the ones we see ALL of the time in everything. Hope you enjoy if you decide to watch either of them! : )

"Perfume" based on Patrick Suskind's novel is a very disturbing and beautiful film. I seriously thought that they could never adapt this to film, but I was shocked when I saw the movie. I thought it was fantastic.

It's about an orphaned child with a gift of disecting smells that starts to learn the art of making perfume when he is "lost" in the smell of a woman and wants to preserve that scent no matter what the cost. Try it! :)
