do you think the lack of sex, (not in a year) makes you smell different down there? do you think that all the stuff that comes out from having sex and orgasms builds up and creates an odor not necessarilly a bad smell but just not normal?

Congrats on your baby and no you're not asking a wierd question :)

Lack of sex doesn't change your scent. But the hormonal changes in the last year and long heavy periods can make your ph levels change. The vagina is a naturally acidic environment and if your ph is raised (more to alkaline) you may notise a slight change in your natural scent though out in public other people shouldn't detect anything.

There may be a problem if your ph level is raised high or raised for long you are prone to bacterial vaginosis infections or yeast infections. A fishy or bad vaginal odor means an infection that needs to be treated.

No. If you have developed an odor, you should see a doctor. The vagina is a completely self-cleansing organ...and EVERYTHING exits the body on a regular basis, BUT if you have a problem (such as a yeast infection for example) things can get dicey.
