if you buy a good brand....its usually really tender and delicious....

if your buying the cheap 99 cents one from a corner store....your almost guaranteed not to like it....

i aint talking about slim jim...or any of that crap either

i like any known brand....and yeah i have tasted that deer one.....we bought it fresh form some exotic meat store....

i would eat jerky every single night for dinner if could~LOL

it'll get expensive and my teeth will probably fall out!~LOL

my fav is peppered...and i just recently discovered how much i enjoy teriyaki

I love beef jerky, I don't really have a fav. brand it just hast to be some what moist not dry and hard to chew. I usually get original but terriyaki is pretty good too. I haven't tried many flavors.

I always make my own. Wal-Mart sells the thin sliced meat just to make jerky, and they sell the jerky mix in the season section with a picture of a deer on the box. You can buy a jerky maker at Wal-Mart around christmas time or probably on the internet. The jerky will taste better and is fresher when homemade.

Yes, being a country boy you grow up on that stuff, I like the regular beef jerky with Lot's of pepper. Not into that Turkey Jerky or Stuff from over seas that taste sweet.

Not really, all the jerky I've found in the UK has been too sweet for my taste.

I much prefer South African Biltong, much the same thing, but cured without adding all the sugars they add when doing jerky.

The piri-piri style of Biltong is my personal favourite, very spicy.

I love my own. I make it 6 times a year, I use beef, and venison, sometimes I will make turkey jerky, too.

Brand name that I like is Jack Links - peppered!

Love it! I like getting the kind that comes with a stick of cheese or I like the teriyaki, chili, beef, pepperoni, ok I like them all!

I love it! We take it whenever we go camping or hiking. I think the best tasting jerky is either green or red chili flavoured. The mesquite taste is awesome, too!
