I'm thinking of moving from LA because it's too expensive but I'm not sure if Miami will be any better, are rents and real estate as high as they are in L.A.?

Since I do not know your specifics ie wage etc. Here's is a site that you can put in the information it will give you a comparison of what you need to earn to live in the same fassion that you are now, and whether at the same income you will have extra money, or less.

It is higher than here , but no where as high as LA,

I call Miami the place where East Los Angeles , and Southern Manhattan meet ,

I say it joking though , I like Miami , Housing is more expensive than here , and I do not know about homeowners insurance rates or things like that , my girlfriends mom just bought a place in Orlando , the house she paid 195 grand for would cost about 85 grand here in SC , but it would 350 grand out in LA ....so if you moved there from Cali and had the same income you would have a better quality of life , and mix that with the cleaner air , and better roads , it should be well worth it ....

I think gas is cheaper there as well I know here it is 2.46 per gallon , it will be a little more in Fla. but cheaper than there , if you are a smoker , I think FLA. the price is around 5.00 per pack , I know LA is a little higher , or they were the last time I was there , here in SC they are about 2.50 per pack , so that sounds about right for FLA. but like I said , the air , the roads , and view on the beaches are much better that there, so it is very worth it ..

Do not let the no income tax thing fool ya. They make up for it on other things , we have an income tax here in SC , but we still pay less than Florida for food ,gas, clothing , and housing ..that includes with the income tax that many get refunded each year , plus our property taxes ,and sales tax is much lower

See a superstar; drink a cocktail on a beach bar at sunset; slip on a set of custom sneakers in an ultra-luxurious boutique in Beverly Hills; enjoy at Universal Studios Hollywood design park, investigate world-class museums, or party the night time out in a starlet-filled club…..this are only someof what exactly you might find in Los Angeles, learn this city with hotelbye . Los Angeles is the California's liveliest town; may be the entertainment capital of America, with megastar wattage and nonstop activities. Hollywood is the most-see attractions in Los Angeles. That place draws millions of guests every year who journey there to pay respect to their beloved stars and maybe even catch a glimpse of several popular personalities. And often they're happy!

Absolutely, positively not. Miami is nowhere near L.A. for cost of living. Miami, aside from the nightlife, is not really a very expensive place to live.

They're high in Miami but California is definitely higher.

Miami is much less expensive, and no income tax.

Cali has the highest cost of living of any state period. It is part of the reason for which I am relocating from Sacramento to Tampa.
