Yes it does. I lost my Sunday School teacher on the 93rd floor on Tower One.

It still hurts.

I care. We are supposed to hear from General Petraeus about the situation in Iraq. Newt has also promised to deliver an address about his opinion on how best to wage the war on terror.

I hope Americans will listen carefully to Petraeus and make determinations from people on the front, rather than the media.

Yes it means a great deal to me.

December 7, 1941 is known as "A day that will live in infamy."
September 11, 2001 should be known as "The day of intolerance."

We as inhabitants of this planet learned first hand what intolerance really is.
And then we determined that we would not tolerate those types of actions and the animals that commit them.
We determined to be intolerant of living in fear.
We determined to be intolerant of hate.
We determined to be intolerant of being naive.
We determined to be intolerant of terrorism.

September 11, 2001 to me is the day of intolerance.

Yes it means a lot, I still remember fearing that some of my family died that day, luckily for me, none did. I remember it vividly, I had worked a night shift and slept through the attacks, and woke up to CNN to see the horrors of that day. I'll remember it to the day I die. That was the day I saw the true face of evil. And, I'll remember those who died as victims and heroes on a day that changed us forever.

Stay out of major cities for the day .
If a nuclear device is detonated it will be in a major city or more likely a port city on our coasts .

SO I will be as far away as possible from any major city .

You should also .

Keep in mind the direction of the wind from these cities and make sure not to be in an area that is likely to receive fall out

Thousands of human beings died on September 11, 2001.

Thousands more died as a result of our response to September 11, 2001.

Many thousands of people will die in the indeterminate future because of September 11, 2001.

I don't need to know any of the people that died to weep for them. Dates like September 11, 2001 make me ashamed to be human. I fear the day I have to face God and explain why I wasn't working to prevent such things every day of my life.

The sorrow of lives lost. The sorrow that Bush allowed and used it for invasion/occupation of a sovereign country. The sorrow that it was used to manipulate many Americans.
