IM GOING WITH THE TEAM THAT BEAT THE SAINTS 2 TIMES LAST YEAR PANTHERS THERE HEALTHY THIS YEAR

The Saints.

Tampa Bay and Carolina need a LOT of improvement offensively from last season. That won't be easy for TB, which has a new QB and O-line issues. It'll be slightly easier for Carolina (I'm certain Delhomme will rebound), but they too have O-line issues & a MLB that can't stay healthy.

Atlanta obviously has to change gears now that Harrington is at the helm. They have a good defense & good running backs, so they might be the sleeper of the division despite their QB.

Even after last night's game, the Saints are the most complete team in the division.

Anyone could win. I personally think the Panthers win the south. The Saints have a lot of questions on defense.

Other than the Falcons, it will be a tough division. But I agree with the respondent above; irrespective of last night's performance, the Saints have to be the favorite. And I predict that Coach Peyton will get them to re-group successfully.

Even after last night's debacle, I still think the Saints are the favorite.

All teams, save Atlanta, should be improved.

Carolina will be a wild card team if they don't win the division.

I will still say the Saints. Last night was one game and a wake up call for them. If you base the whole season on one game then your dumb.

Everyone seems to be underestimating the Bucs. Beware the sleeper team.
