No it does not. Another name for ethylene glycol is
1,2-ethanediol, which is a molecule of ethane with one
-OH group on each of the two carbon atoms.
The methyl (CH3) group doesn't occur in this molecule.

Ethylene glycol is a common name for what would now be called 1,2-dihydroxyethane. You should be able to figure the answer out for yourself from that.

ethylene itself is a kinda alkene.but ethylene glycol is a kinda alchohol and methyl is a kinda alkyle(CH3)that is not in ethylene glycol

No ti does not have a methyl in it.

OH-CH2-CH2-OH

If one of the hydroxide ions were removed and replaced with a Hydrogen then yeah but that is not the case.
