My Mom is 60, my Dad is 58.
However, my grandmother just turned 100 in July.
She still lives in the house her husband built her, and cares for her German Shepard.
She just had cataract surgery earlier this year. We tried to talk her out of it, say it was dangerous at that age, but she wouldn't hear it. "So what. Then that's how I die. But as long as I'm alive, I wanna be able to see stuff, damnit!" she said. No arguing with that ...

My Dad passed away nearly 40 years ago and I still miss him...
I never got to tell him I loved him cause I was just a teenager when he died...
My mom is still alive and living in a nursing home at age 81 and she has Alzheimer's and cannot do for herself...
She is completely bedridden and helpless...
It so sad to see a parent grow old and feeble...

My Dad has Passed and my Mom is 70.........and MAN COULD THEY HAVE PUT THAT THING IN A WORSE PLACE?....Everytime I go to answer a question, I kind of stammer for a sec. or two........Have a Great Day!!
