What type of lip make-up to use if you have a smaller mouth?

I have a smaller mouth and was wondering what would be the best type of makeup to wear on my lips? Wearing lipstick seems to draw attention to the fact that I have a smaller mouth, but wearing lipgloss alone seems to do nothing. Can someone please help me!? Thanks so much!

My lips are thin. I use a lip liner in a darker tone, and fill in with lipstick. Then, set the lipstick with a little powder to soften the whole.
Play up your eyes to take attention away from the mouth.

My answer- Lip Liner!
Try outline your lips ever so slightly on the outter of the lips. Then stick to lipstick of lightler tones, cream,gloss whichever. Another handy trick is to add a 2nd 'highlighter' shade of lipstick to center of lips. This helps build the illusion of fuller, wider lips.
Also try define your eyes more, it also helps to detract unwanted attention from your lips. No dramatic, darker lipstick shades either!
Warning! Please dont over do the effect. Ive seen some trajic 'over lined' lips.....you dont want the Crusty the Clown look im sure.

I love the covergirl tinted lip glosses. I have a small pouty mouth and I love the cg bronze goddess in the yellow tube. Its a shiny sun kissed tint. Subtle. Great for keeping my lips soft too!

try finding a lipstick colour that's just a bit darker than the inside of your lower lip also add gloss.. this way it's not so much of a contrast with your complexion
you could also try to use lipliner to make them slightly larger but use a good liner
a lip plumping product used regularly might help too
LipFusion is great but pricey.. DuWop venom is less expensive and fairly effective

lip plumper :)

theres this one called somethinggg venom at sephora, its REALLLLLY good. the only bad thing about this one is that its reallllly pricey, like 28$ for one tube.

theres one at victorias secret too. it feels really cool cause its all tingly and it donest hurt as much as the venom one. PLUS its cheaper, like half the price of the sephora one.

outline ur lips with a light pink and then color them in with color that goes with the lip liner then apply lip gloss.
