I was thinking just to do a circle with red on top and blue on the bottom with a big T in the middle. Any better ideas?

Also, can you bring a backpack into the Rangers Ballpark? Can you see the game from the kids area?

From the Rangers' "A to Z Fan Ballpark Guide":

Fan Code Of Conduct
6. No metal cans, glass containers, or alcoholic beverages may be carried into the stadium. No coolers, backpacks, or oversize bags allowed. All carry bags and purses must be 12"x12"x6" or smaller, and will be searched by ballpark staff.

Diaper bag, I tells ya.

I'd go with a basic Lone Star design, but face painting isn't my thing and my kids have never clamored for it.

The kid area -- Vandergriff Plaza -- is behind the center field bleachers, so if you wander over to the top row you can see the field, but from the whiffle diamond or such, not really. A little bit. Depends how tall you are.

I love when people paint their faces all white and then add red in the design of stitching and their face looks like a big baseball. You can use it at any stadium because it's not team oriented.
