My mom would kick butt, and not even break a sweat doing it. She would just turn on the guilt machine and make your mom beat herself up, and then apologize for causing all the trouble!

Well, in my younger years, I remember my caring loving mom being the home maker. She took care of the family farms business . She was great in making these darn great fruit cakes the German way. She was wonderful in canning in jams, marmelades, and others can goods.
We had an out door stove made out of stones. Here she would bake every weekend delicious rolls, breads and cakes. I remember those for the rest of my life. Now I am doing some of the things that she has done. I think she would be proud of me. She passed away a few years ago.
