What is the purpose of the giant new REPORT button?
It already says the exact same thing under the question, and we can hover over the flag to see what it means, although it's pretty obvious.
Is it that they think we are so stupid we need it spelled out twice?
In that case why isn't everything else written out? Like the "email this question" function which took me forever to notice (but only because I didn't care enough to look at all the buttons properly)
Yeah, what yahoo really needs right now is more reporting....
Look at the size of that button. It's just calling out to be pressed.

No, it's not calling out to me, but it IS distracting me from giving a really good answer.
Btw: Kudos for the bal*sy question. I thought y/a zeroed in instantly to questions like this. Hmmm. You should have 50 stars up there just for asking it.

I PUSHED THE BUTTON! I'm sorry, it called to me, I hadn't noticed till you pointed out the overlarge and quite unnecessary' REPORT IT' banner. What do I do? Do i reprto you? do I learn to spell? (I'm not that drunk just yet) Do i forsake my new found friends and condemn them to a pointless and unnecessary violation notice!!!!!!??????

If it's calling me I can't hear it. I actually hate reporting people.
I think it should be moved away from the star button as it's now so big it could almost be hit by accident.

It's so stupid people can report everyone with greater ease, of course. Just what we need. People that are ill equipped to act like decent human beings can report with ease those people they don't agree with...great.

It's not just a button,Ive pushed it and there are 2 new ways to report ppl (if the content it's against community guideliness or if it's illegal) Ive never used it and never will,anyways ;)

no it doesn't call out to me at all, I could care a less about their silly buttons, just giving the little trolls another option to vent pent up frustrations

not to me, but yeah that's pretty stupid to make it so big, it just makes it harder for the trolls and tattle tails to resists its suggestion of power! we all already knew what is was with out the super sizing!
