When I whipped this morning I got a little bit of CM on my TP. But I've been taking 2 ovulation tests a day and took another one just a few mintues ago and still haven't gotten a positive. I didn't miss my time to conceive did I? Any help or advice on the OPK would be great.
Thanks***

It's normal to get the Eggwhite or watery discharge before your LH goes up...
I have yet to ever get a FULL line on my opk's..I always get a half line, but as long as it's as dark as the control line than you're ok.
Like the others said, try to take at least 1 test a day (more if you can) and around 2 or so in the afternoon.
I personally had to take 2 or more a day to catch my surge (probably because I drink alot of water and am so busy I gotta just do whatever to catch my surge)but I always end up finding it.
Good luck to you!!

When I was trying to concieve last year I tried the OPK's and never got anything, I tried the little scope where you look for ferning and never saw anything, I took my temps and never saw a change. I also charted my cm and that did make a bit of sense. I highly suggest to not chart and have fun having sex, it seems when you stop all the charting and just relax is when you finally become pregnant. Go online and check your most fertile days on an ovulation calendar and then start having sex on those days as much as possible. It worked for me :) Good Luck to you!!!

To Sara.... a period every month does not mean you ovulate every month. You can have a period without ovulating, it's called an anovulatory cycle.

As for your question...it's common for CM to change right before ovulation takes place... for some women it's a day or two, some women longer. Since you're seeing it now, that's a good sign ovulation is coming. Keep testing and baby dancing, you should say a positive in a day or two.

Good luck!

It sounds like you are probably just gearing up to ovulate. Make sure you're holding your pee for a while before taking an OPK. If you just started noticing the CM, you'll probably be ovulating in the next couple days. I get EWCM for two days before I ovulate. Good luck!

It is normal for your CM to start changing about 4 days before ovulation and you probably won't get a pos opk til the day before ovulation. Keep testing, and be sure you are using urine that has been held for at least 4 hours, don't drink anything during those 4hours, and test between 10AM-2PM.

Try taking the test around 12 noon. That's the best time according to what I've read. You may not ovulate every month - thus a negative result. Keep trying though!

I consider the previous answer curiously such as you're ovulating cervix does not constantly bypass hi and it must be thinner than you think of are you probable looking too complicated? loosen up have exciting it is going to ensue. reliable success.

Im having the same issue -- Why would she not ovulate each month? If you get your period, and cervical mucus, it means you're ovulating, right?
