Add "http://" before "www". Dont include the quotation marks lol. So, for example www.google.com will become http://www.google.com

And yes, you are correct - they are called hyperlinks.

When you type it correctly it will link automatic.
www.yahoo.com will not work.
But, http://www.yahoo.com will work. Be sure to space your link from other words.
In a web page the HTML code can also specify links and Buttons to click. Some pictures we see have a link we not see. Telling the web page where to find the picture or information.

its an HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language) tag that tells the browser what you want to link. some of the pages dont usually convert automatically your link. =)

If it's to a website, you have to add 'http://' to the start of it. So for exaple..
www.myspace.com
http://www.myspace.com

It doesn't work if you don't have the 'http://' before.
