I'm not sure if this movie already came out this year or is coming out next year, but the preview started as a home video of a bunch of friends saying good-bye to some guy who got a new job or something. I think his name was Dave, not sure. But out of nowhere the lights go out, and it seems like there's an earthquake, everyone runs outside, and there's a lot of confusion. All of a sudden people start screaming and there are balls of fire in the sky and I think the head of the statue of liberty lands in the middle of the street. So, does anyone remember the name of the movie?

Actually the movie has no set title yet. It is still known as "Untitled J.J. Abrams Project" It comes out on Jan. 18, 2008 and they still have us in the dark over details.

Can't remember exactly, but I think that you might be talking about the movie from the creator of Lost. Not sure on the title of that.

it's set to release 1.18.08
