I don't know what type of report your doing but this question doesn't make any sense at all. First of all you can't say that all white people fear black people because that simply isn't true. How about asking your question in a more better way such as:
"Why do people fear other people sometimes"??? After all were all humans. We all just have different colors. And, you also don't know that living in the ghetto makes blacks desperate either. How would you know that??? Have you lived in the ghetto???
Obviously if you knew how desperate a black person living in the ghetto was you wouldn't need to be getting an answer to your question since you seem to have an answer already. For your information many black people don't live in the ghetto and have never been raised there. Trust me, I have seen many other races in the ghetto everyday, and I still see many other races in the ghetto. Here's what you need to do.
GROW UP!!!!!!!!! And, stop generalizing and stereotyping because you sound really ignorant and racist right now. If your so worried about this then why don't you go up to a black person and ask them this question instead of hiding behind your computer screen to get an answer. I don't believe your doing any report. I think your just being a jerk!!!

Hi I’m a black guy and sometimes I’m afraid of black guys. Its all about the image u put off. I usually have a smile on my face and ware clothing that give off the image ,I want for my self ,which, is honest ,kind and friendly, while scary guys do the opposite they have a stone cold face and dress like tugs who would not be afraid of tugs . That’s why I would be scared if a bunch of bunch of white guys dress and acting like tugs came close. Your personal image has a lot to do with it that’s all im saying

fear. a single instance that reinforces a negative stereotype can resonate in memory far longer than thousands of instances that do not support that stereotype. This is not only racial; think of the "rude Frenchman," the obnoxious/ignorant American tourist, or the "dumb blonde;" in each case one might meet hundreds who contradict the image, but they do not stand out in memory.
So the cultural memory/association of the "black criminal" stereotype, perhaps combined with cultural differences and attitudes which might (correctly or not) be interpreted as anger amongst black youths (in particular), remains a powerful threat to some white people, especially those without regular connection with black culture.

I don't fear black people, just the ones who hang in dark alleys and smoke etc, but some people fear them because they grew up in an environment where they were taught to...

I think it goes either way, depending on your environment and how you were raised. My wife( who is dark black) was afraid of black men because of the men in growing up period including her dad who use to beat her and her mom. I am white and my dad use to hit my mom. And to help your report music videos and tring to act "bad and tough" doesn't help. Also, I have lived in predominantly black areas and I don't "act or talk black". I repsect myself, my wife and my neighbors no matter their race.

-Our darker skin is intimidating and "different."
-The way we speak is intimidating, especially when we're highly educated.
-The kinkiness of our hair is intimidating and "different."
-Our confidence is intimidating and "frightening."
-Our culture goes beyond their heads and they fear what they do not know.
-Our strength as a people is ultra intimidating.
-Oh, and because they're RACIST.
This is hilarious to me. If anything, based on past events, blacks should be sh*t scared of white people. Why is it the other way around?
