I personally do not like it. The spelling is confusing and I am not sure how to pronounce it. It will make life more difficult for the child. Even with my son Dylan...people can pronounce it but always spell it wrong (dillon or dillion) and it is a pain. Same with my husband Shawn. He ALWAYS has to spell his name for people because otherwise they will spell it Sean or Shaun. It is a hassle to both of them...and a hassle to me because it is irritating to have to listen to them always have to spell it.....My son's grandma still cannot spell his name right and it isn't because she is "old and senile" she is only 50!

first- there's no question here...so I don't really know what you want....haha

second- your friend should be able to name her baby whatever she wants.

I am looking at this name and the only way i can see how it's pronounced is Ah-na-ree-yah. Which sounds way to much like Gonorrhea

Don`t do that to the poor kid ! There are thousands of normal names to choose from . Why have the child start out in life with one strike already against her ?

I love the name. It is actually my niece's middle name except her's is spelled A'Nareeya. Both of my children have very uncommon names and yes EVERYONE pronounces them wrong but it is what my husband and I chose and we do not regret our decision.

What? How is that pronounced? I guess people will just call her Nari. That sounds better anyway. She needs to be prepared! Other kids will laugh when the teacher tries to pronounce that name!

I'm not a fan of names with ' in them, but it's a feminine name, and pretty. If she can spell it Anaryeea, or somehow without punctuation, it's better as far as I'm concerned.

The name is ok if your bff really likes it; but I would lose the apostophe.

Get rid of the apostrophe....it is confusing and makes the name look even more made up and pretentious than it already is.
