A couple of years back I was coming back from bathroom and met my high school principal and he smelled like pot like you wouldn’t believe! And before you ask, yes, I know how pot smells like enough to tell it from other things. Told my parents and they said that even if it’s true, there’s nothing I can do. Not that long ago I saw our dear principal smoking just outside school property, and it wasn’t a cigar if you know what I mean. He got me in trouble enough times and now I want to repay the kindness. That and the justice and fairness and health crap. I told a teacher, but she didn’t believe me. And I don’t have proof. Been taking a camera to school ever since, but never caught him again. Suggestions?

Call the school board administrative office.

Anything you do to try to get him into trouble will just come back to bite you. You have told both your parents and a teacher, and they either haven't believed you or have told you to lay off. That was actually good advice. If his drug use were putting the school in jeopardy, people would care more, but you aren't saying that he is stealing school funds for his pot habit, or that he is making bad decisions because he smokes pot, just that he is doing it. If he is really doing anything as blatant as smoking pot in school, he will get caught by someone with more credibility than you have. What you are doing is trying for vengeance, and it is not only mean and childish, but it will harm you at least as much as it harms him.

I should add that when I was a camp counselor years ago, I took a group of kids horseback riding along with one of the camp directors. We stopped at his cabin to pick something up, and I saw a roach (marijuana, not the insect) in his ashtray. He knew I saw it, and he treated me abusively the rest of the summer in an attempt to destroy any credibility I may have had if I reported it.

The principal "got you in trouble?" Are you sure that you didn't get yourself in trouble and the principal was just doing his job? If the principal is really smoking pot at school, he is a complete idiot with a drug problem. If the alleged pot smoking principal story is really true, certainly you are not the only one who has noticed this. Get proof and turn him into the authorities. In the mean time, you could try to grow up and work on your own misbehavior that the "principal got you in trouble for". You are very immature and have a lot of growing up to do. Good luck!

Call the cops. He's breaking the law. Since your parents and your teacher don't take you seriously, it's past time to involve someone who is neutral. But I must warn you, if you're wrong, it could backfire and cause you a lot of trouble.

By the way, no one can "get you in trouble." You do that to yourself. All anyone else can do is catch you at it. Take responsibility for your own actions. If you have behaved in a way that shows others that you blame everyone but yourself when you get into trouble, no wonder no one believes you when you point the finger at someone. If you had the reputation of being honest and reliable, your accusations would not have met with disbelief.

In high school, I always thought that are principal was a pothead. Hell with all those screaming teenagers, who can really blame him.
The camer probably won't do any good, mostly because he'll deny by saying that its photoshopped. Not really a hard thing to do these days. Also, if the plan fails, the principals will have it out for you.
Best idea would be ignoring it and attempting to forget about it.

So, let's get this straight. You're looking to ruin a man's life because you've gotten in trouble a few times in high school. Is that correct?

If he's good at what he does, if he's fair to all the kids, and if he's trying to make the school a better place (you know, besides smoking grass), then don't be a douche bag. Let him be.

If he's got a real problem with the pot, then eventually he'll hang himself out to dry with it. If not, then there's really no reason to ruin his life, and the life of his wife and kids (if he has a family).

Good heavens... have you ever been a high school principal? Leave him alone. He is dealing with teenagers. Besides, revenge is never the best motive.... you've told enough people. Now go about the business of being a student instead of a CSI agent.... and leave the poor guy alone. You don't have evidence.... so concentrate on something that will get you ahead in life (your education) rather than on "catching" someone doing something wrong. Geez.

the teacher needs to be dealt with by the school first. get some proof of him doing it just to be sure, so you can be prepared if someone asks you for hard evidence. if i was the teacher, i would want a chance to get clean and not harm people anymore, so i would want the school to give me a warning or punishment of some sort before being dealt with by the police then going to jail or something even more harsher. that's what i would do. even before all of this, i would talk to the teacher myself and list the above and bring along a friend or two to be safe.

Good idea, go to the school board, then get ready for you and your parents to go to civil court for the law suit he files against you. Then figure out what private school you want to attend because you won't be able to attend a public school in that district. When your parents have lost their house and everything they own because you can't prove what your saying explain it to them. NO he CAN NOT be made to take a drug test on your say so.

I think that before you start talking you need to have proof, real proof like a joint or his weed bag. Cuz you can get into a lot of trouble if you snitch on people and if you say something that isn't true.
