one day, we hope, the truth will out.

I'm finding it very difficult to understand the blood in the hire car. I know the Press are talking about it but have the police said that this is true.
What is fact, though, is that the dna tests have resulted in Kate McCann being requestioned and given the status of arguido. Before this step was taken you can bet your bottom dollar that the British police would have been consulted. The McCanns have too many powerful friends, including the British Press, for this not to have been done.
I would have thought that most people would have been pleased that at last this case has moved forward. However unpleasant it might get the first priority should be justice for Madeleine, even if that might people some people falling off their pedestals.

I know I'll get moaned at for stating that I would like to know the facts before jumping to uninformed conclusions, but that is basic common sense and I stand by it.
We all know that horrible crimes occur all the time, often without motive. It is possible that that's what happened, or that it was an accident. HOWEVER, not having seen the evidence or been given official insight into the details of the case, it would be pretty dim for us to declare that we know what went on.
In reality, we do not know that the parents are either innocent or guilty, so why anyone be daft enough to claim that they "know" for sure? Nobody here knows (unless they're hiding something, in which case, you'd think they'd have bigger concerns than hanging around on Y! Answers.)
There are a lot of questions to be answered. Where, precisely, did the McCanns supposedly hide the body for the 24 days before hiring the car? How did they do this with constant police presence and withjout being noticed, considering that they were under constant surveillance? How was Madeleine's body not found with at least half the population of the resort searching high and low non-stop?
Now, I am NOT condoning child neglect, I never would... but that doesn't mean that I buy into the myriad hysterical half-baked conspiracy theories, which are based purely on speculation and imagination.
I am not proclaiming that the McCanns are innocent - I do not know this for a fact, nor do I know for a fact that they are guilty. I am waiting for the facts to emerge. Not listening to gossipmongers and tabloid hacks.

Not 25 days after Madeleine was reported missing. On the night she went missing! The only explanation that fits the evidence is that a kidnapper abducted Madeleine (using force and causing some blood loss) and stowed her in the boot of a rent-a-car which he used to get away. The McCann's just happen to rent the same car 25 days later. Bad luck for Gerry and Kate? Maybe not. Find out who had the car on May 3 and you will have your 4th suspect.

Ladybugs77, I agree with you how could Madeleine’s blood be found in car that was rented 25 days after she disappeared. I am not going to jump to the conclusion yet that the parents murdered her but how can that blood be explained?
Whether you are 'anti or 'pro' speculation as to whether they are guilty or innocent holds no difference without proof.

How do the police know it is Madeline's DNA and not her siblings? And no one has speculated that the McCanns are 100% inocent but pointing out you are inocent until proven guilty. They are clearly not blameless as they left three young children home alone which is completly unacceptable. I just don't believing in hanging someone with out good hard solid proof.

everyone can speculate if the McCanns are guilty or are innocent but the only people who truly know the truth is the person that took Maddie and Maddie her self. but obviously Maddie can not give her side of the story but i just hope that the person who has done it comes clean sooner rather then later because it is not fair on Maddie's family or the little girl.
i do hope that they find little Maddie alive and well but time will soon tell so leave the detective work to the people who get paid for it!!

Good point! Nobody knows. It could go either way or we may all end up being surprised. Still going to hold out a little hope however that she is out there somewhere until a body is found or a confession comes out.

I have read that the blood in the car theory was started by one of the locals and that there is not truth in it. If it was true, then all they would have to do is trace who was renting the car when she went missing of course.
