the x 10 to the 12th power basically means to move your decimal place to the right 12 times

This is a very large number so to make it easy to handle mathematicians have agreed to some rules to make it easy to handle.
One rule is called, scientific notation, where you take a large number and write the first digit, a decimal point then the rest of the digits followed by, or times, a power of 10.
powers of 10 are very easy to work with because you can tell the answer just by looking at the little number (the power of 10).
10⁶ = 1 followed by 6 zeros (million)
10³ = 1 one followed by 3 zeros (thousand)
And the number before the power of 10 is just a single digit number so it can easily be added, subtracted, multiplied, divided, and compared to another large number with the same power of 10.
In your case the number is:
5.56 * 10^12
Which is approximately a 5 followed by 12 zeros or exactly:
5,560,000,000,000
Only 10 zeros here because 2 were used to free up the 2 digits trapped by the decimal point.
As you can see this is a very large number that you would not want to keep writing over and over whenever you made reference to it.
Test your understanding by doing this problem:
7.3 x 10⁸
ANS 730,000,000

u given 5.56x10 pwer of 12!
10 power of 1 means 10
or 10^1=10(by computer term or understanding)
10 power of 12 means
10x10x10x10x10x10...for 12times
also 10^12=1000000000000
its has total of 12 zero..
however
5.56x10^12 simply mean..
5.56x10^12= 5560000000000

You better don't change the notation (powers of ten are easy to compare each others): however you have just to put after the number 10 zeros and remove the point.
5560000000000
PS studying is better!! That was not so difficult. Take it easy:)
