Yeah, my brother in law.
He brags about himself constantly and he talks down about everyone in my immediate family to me. Often times I feel like telling him to stuff it but I just smile and be nice.

I grew up on a farm, we had farm animals yet no horses, i eventually have been given one at approximately 10 after breaking each and every wild horse and pony indoors of 15 miles. the human beings could desire to come get me and a few circumstances i could desire to wreck 2 or 3 in an afternoon, now and back i could desire to wreck a mule. I had 3 brothers and a million sister and non of them had any pastime in horses. I married somebody who did now not quite like horses, we had 3 childrens who by ability of no ability had a keenness for horses. I re married and he or she did %. to trip even with the shown fact that the pastime improve into now not there. We had one daughter who loves horses yet does not trip anymore, she has 4 daughters and a couple of of them love horses. I even have 5 infants and 11 grandchildren, none of them trip. i'm sixty 4 am now single back yet I even even with the undeniable fact that wreck and prepare horses.

Oh YES!!
People like that in families are VERY common and you'll find most ppl sayin a yes to this one. But you can't help THAT. Best way if you NEED to be around them is to think straight and be sensible enough not to let ur tongue slip and make them even more irritable.
For questions about your problems in your relationships, advice or just plain "steam let-off". The 'Doc as he calls himself in this website (blog rather) claims he can give sincere advice. the link is given below. He calls himself the relationship doctor.
I think its worth a look-see. Won't do no harm.
Cheers!!

Well, there are two of my aunties that I really hated, but have to be polite at all times though:-
* My dad's youngest sister - The moment she comes into my house, her only intentions is to spy on us, looking at what my grandparents, parents, my sister and I are doing or working as. She just loves to compare and till one day, I said something straight to her face:
"Auntie, you either come here to pay a visit to my grandparents, or don't ever come back. Your hypocrisy will do you no favour."
After that, both of us just ignored each other whenever we see each other.
* My dad's brother's wife - Another hypocrite in the making. Just to come to the house and complain to my grandparents about my uncle. Furthermore, she wants to know if we have a fair share in my grandmother's property. Damn that woman.
Gees.....
Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)

Not really, I have a cousin, I use to think she was really neat and then a couple years ago she was a complete tw@t to me and my wife and that was the end of that, luckily she lives in another state so she is rarely around. I could never figure out why my parents didn't like her...

I've come to the point where I avoid people including family members who I can't stand and/or add nothing to my life. I get negative vibes just being around them...

yes, people with alot of personal success/wealth and egos to match usually take a disliking to me. they're usually on the peripheral of the family, a sister in laws aunt, a cousins fiancee. this happens because they don't know me that well, they're comfortable from the get-go, eg they don't have a respect or need to win you over approach, they usually feel like they are important and better than you. so for whatever reason, perhaps a vibe i give out, or a sense that gets to them that i'm not going to kiss *** to your wealth, i'm not going to cater to your ego, i'm not going to accept you as family with what they're bringing to the table. perhaps my ego clashes with theirs, but for whatever reason, it does clash. so i'm not planning on going to the cousins wedding, and i'm dodging that aunt for the rest of my life, because they have no place in it.

Yup - one of my guy cousins. I think he is a total putz - womanizing bastard who thinks he is so great, but is actually pathetic and sad.
I am civil to him, I just hope no one ever asks me what I really think of him, because I will have to tell the truth.
