No.
I had a 2nd trimester miscarriage in December. They did a D&C and I started m/c-ing AGAIN in January. They didn't get it all during the D&C and I had to have a 2nd D&C.
At my check-up appointment later in January after the second surgery, my OB did an ultrasound and showed me that there was a follicle on one my ovaries that was ready for ovulation already! By April I was pregnant! I'm now almost 21 weeks along!
You may ask for an ultrasound to check if everything is forming properly to be ready to get pregnant again. Usually DRs will recommend you wait about 2-3 periods before trying. This is to make sure everything from the miscarriage is gone so that there isn't a risk of infection in the uterus or for the new embryo.
My DR told me to wait and I told her I didn't want to, that we were trying so hard for our baby, so she personally brought me for the u/s to show me why I should wait (she was planning to show me that I hadn't any follicles for ovulating that soon anyways). She saw it and explained it all to me and gave us the "go-ahead" to start trying again!
Best of luck to you and yours!

I have heard and read that it can be easier actually. For one, your uterus is as clean as it can be, so the lining will allow for good inmpantation. Also, your body now knows how to be pregnant. Be careful thought. Make sure that your howmones have returned to normal before trying to get pregnant again.
I am sorry for your loss. I do hope you have good luck in the future.

every one is different, fo me it took 18 months, for my sister it took 6 weeks. If it has been a long time, a year or so, consult a dr, there may be a reason you can't get or stay pregnant.
