I've been missing my best friend from college since he died almost 7 years ago now. He's never far from my thoughts.

Many people are missing a Friend or a Lover including me!! I miss many friends most of them have graduated and they are away for college (or working a lot).

I miss my wife when I'm at work. Right now she's sound asleep and I know she needs the rest (she did a lot of stuff yesterday, after all) so I'm still missing her, even though she's only about 50 feet away from where I'm sitting and writing this. She's sound asleep behind the bedroom door, and I don't have the nerve to disturb her yet.

My son who went to Japan.
A friend who is working two shifts and is dead tired at the end of the day... just doesn't have time for much else right now.
A friend who has been gone a while and just starting emailing again.
