Yes. Its cuz it goes into the voting process cuz the one who asked it didnt choose the best answer. Sometimes it takes forever to get voted on! Thats why every day after I answer questions I vote too. Its always nice to get a surprise best answer though!

Yes. It usually happens when I answer a question and the person let's it go to a vote. Sometimes it is a question that has never been voted on or has been tied for a long time and someone casts the deciding vote months later.

Often! I think my "oldest" one was over 9 months old when it was finally resolved. I didn't remember (or recognize) my own answer, much less the question!

Yeah it's pretty stupid..

It makes me feel OLD.. Like... "Didn't I just answer that a week or so ago?" and it was asked in April..
