I agree. That's why you are supposed to eat as naturally as possible and clean your fruit and produce thoroughly before using it.

I think the food we have available now days is so processed and "played" with that it might well have a bearing on our bodies.

For instance, you ask anyone in the 50 + age range if when they was growing up if they knew of ANYONE that was allergic to peanuts or peanut products..........yet go to the 20 ish range and most people can name at least 6 + people that has some type of food allergies.

As for killing as at an early age, I would disagree as the life expectancy for the average person is FAR more than it has ever been...........
