Please help,my speakers aren't very loud?

and I have the volume all the way up. It's a brand new computer too.

on the lower right hand side is a speaker icon. Double click on it and adjust your audio properties

Check the Volume setting of the computer, may be under Entertainment.
Also, speakers have their own amplifier if they the separate kind. The volume will depend on the Wattage of the Speakers themselves. I have a nice $20 set "Creative" brand. It 2 speakers and a sub/bass. For me it plenty, but, it not crank up like some my friends have, which cost more.
