A blowhard friend of mine says he once saw Pavarotti perform in Russia, can you tell me where to find a list?

I have poured through many biographies and career timelines and cannot find a reference for him ever performing in Russia or the Soviet Union.

That doesn't mean it didn't happen, but it seems it would have been a big event in his career.

Why wouldn't he have performed in Russia?

The Russians love opera and ballet.
