Well, considering that the muslim world, over 1 billion strong, does not drink alcohol, and that many many other men don't choose to drink alcohol, there is no "requirement" that someone must drink in order to relax and unwind after a day of hard work. That is just plain ridiculous. It is simply a matter of personal preference. But someone that drinks 4 pints a day and must have it every day-- that is most likely someone who has developed a dependency on alcohol.

You'll find that the drinking of X amounts of pints after a hard days graft is more of a social bonding of work mates.
It's not like other comments about being an alcholic, it will be the done thing after a days work with the other blokes on his shift.
Wouldn't worry to much as long as it is just a few and not falling down pie-eyed every night.

There are lots of other ways, definitely. But don't underestimate the relaxing power of a few drinks after hard work! Maybe 4 pints is more than usual, but a couple of drinks sounds fine.

No. Well, if my woman weighed less than a hundred pounds, I would. Mine can hold her liquor well. The thing is, one should not drink until they puke or pass out. This is binge drinking. Very dangerous. I know I can drink a liter a week (on vacation) and I never CRAVE alcohol. Weight matters a lot. As long as your partner is in control and not making an @ss of themselves, I think it'll be alright.

Don't Do That's right on the money. Your boyfriend's an alcoholic looking for an excuse to get drunk.

Sure, he deserves to relax after working hard. But relaxing doesn't have to include beer.

It has worked for me. A person can get pretty dehydrated, And water does'nt help. We were doing culvert's and all the water doe'snt help 4 beer did. Gator aid is supposed to hydrate the body. But one has to watch the intake of that. I think I'm sick from drinking my well water which I generally don't do before testing it. My bro said may-be you should stick to beer if the water is going to make you that sick.

4 pts isnt a lot. nothign wrong with chilling after a days hard graft with a cold pint infront of the TV.

everyone needs some quiet time after work and as long as he isnt getting blind drunk every night and its not affecting your sex life etc.... then theirs no harm in it.

are you a stay at home partner or do you go to work?

Maybe you should find a new boyfriend before this man drags you down along with himself into the pits of alcoholism...

No it is an excuse to drink ,It is the manly image they want.
The best is a nice soak in bath or shower ,nice meal and spend time with partner ,family, and if you must drink then go for a quiet relaxed drink together
Cheaper and healthy
