geek chic baby. I wear big dark glasses. I admit to being a dork. It's better to be comfortable with yourself and be real, right? Plus, I would hope that it's "the in thing" to be smart. I worried for a while with the rise of such stupids as Paris Hilton, Larry the Cable Guy, and our current president.
...ok, all I gotta say is, I'm a geek, and I'm proud. And I think that's pretty cool.

Meh... Geek is just geek. Both my husband and I are geeks and are very happy that way. I don't think geeks are cool, but I like being one if that makes sense.

They've always been the cool ones.
People don't realize this until they've left the conformist/herd-like environment of high school.
Since when does "being like everyone else" make a well adjusted & interesting individual?
