The 'stealing' is in the form of creating an advantageous position for American companies in the Iraqi oil market.

It's been a while since we've been in the position to "steal" oil from Iraq. In fact we take what we can, but things haven't been successful lately. We're relying more and more on off-shore drilling which I hate to say just isn't cutting it in the world we live in today. We're expanding at an alarming rate. This is why the government is now investing in the growing "green" technologies. The control we have over the middle east refineries and isolated drill sites does have a lot to do with the fluctuating price of crude oil, but the middle east isn't the only place we acquire the stuff. It's all about money, and the men behind that etho who uses Americas needs to bank in. So you're right, where is the oil? In someone else's pocket for bid.

Duh!

Get a clue, it isn't about Iraqi oil right now. If we were to flood the market with Iraq oil, the price per barrel would drop to less than $25. Thus the oil companies would not be posting multi-billion quarterly profits.

The invasion was set up so that Iraqi oil would be available on the market once the reserves in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait started drying up (eg: about a decade or so). That way the price stays stable around $70 bbl. and the oil companies continue to reap massive profits.

Hidden along with Cheney's proof of an Al-Queada/Iraq link that he demands is there but refuses to share evidence of.

Do you not consider it theft to go into a country and demand that they switch their pricing for certain external commerce back to your currency so that it properly holds its value?

Let me guess, Big Oil is hiding it to keep prices up.

Oil?
I want to know where the $22 BILLION DOLLARS in that "Oil for Food" program is that the "U.N." can't find!
I mean how does $22 BILLION DOLLARS just "dissapear"?
And the "U.N." STILL doesn't know what happened to it?
