Interesting sho on PBS about that a few months ago. According to that documentary, the man who stopped the tank cannot be found, although their government says "he's alive and doing fine". On a side note, it turns out that Yahoo in china will not display any of those pictures on their website.

no one relly know there are some reports that the governmant exacuted him and also that he is still alive hiding in china. This will tell you all about it . It was a cctually a horrible incident a lot of people lost there lives. But it showed the communist government that some people were willing to die to stand up to them. A pretty inspiring story if i do say myself

Most reports from those Chinese who went into exile after the events in the square indicate he was hanged several weeks later.

He beat on the hatch of the tank for a while, then was dragged off by guards. He was never heard from again, and was probably executed or imprisoned for life.

he dissapeared like a lot of the protesters did from that time. They take them away and they "dissapear" no questions about it. Try asking the President, he's in Sydney at the moment
