so i came off the pill a year ago and have only had 2 periods (last one in feb) however i am just in the middle of anotherperiod(finally!) but i hadnt realised i had ovulated? would i have deffinately ovulated before this period?

i believe u probably ovulated 14 days before your period was due
if u r a regular with yor periods u ovulate 14 days after your period and 14 days before but because u r irregular its always 14 days before u r due

No, when you go so long between periods often the bleed isn't triggered by ovulation, but by estrogen dominance causing the lining of the uterus to thicken over time. It is possible, but unlikely you ovulated before this period.

yes , as it wasnt near the tim eyou came off the pill it couldnt be a withdrawal bleed , and as far as im aware you have to ovulate to have a period, and since your off the pill its very likely you ovulated a bit before you period.

Not necessarily. Some women have an-ovulation between their periods where they don't ovulate at all. Nothing is definite when you are trying to conceive, unfortunately.
