I just bought a brand new 2007 Pontiac Torrent a few weeks ago and yesterday a stone flew up off the road and chipped my windshield. I want to have this repaired. Will it be covered under my warranty?

Stone chips, bird dropping damage, acid rain, etc are not covered by Warranty at all. You will have to get it touched up or repainted at your expense unfortunately.

No, not the factory warranty, that is something beyond the control of the manufacturer so they wont feel it is their responsibility.
Your comprehensive on the insurance policy will cover that, minus the deductible.

Rarely are road hazzards ever covered by a warranty.

However, check with your insurance company, many of them do cover windshield damage with no deductable.

warranty covers manufacturer's defects. damage by impact is not a defect.
