Check this out:
Ron Paul is the only one that has real solutions to real problems. He cares about the American working man. His plans will help the poor, help the blue collar working man. His plans will ensure rights, freedom and liberty for all of us.
Here is proof:
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/about/...
1. Abortion Rights - Pro Life.
"The right of an innocent, unborn child to life is at the heart of the American ideals of liberty. My professional and legislative record demonstrates my strong commitment to this pro-life principle. In 40 years of medical practice, I never once considered performing an abortion, nor did I ever find abortion necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman."
2. Immigration - Against Illegal invasion. Supports secure borders.
"The talk must stop. We must secure our borders now. A nation without secure borders is no nation at all. It makes no sense to fight terrorists abroad when our own front door is left unlocked.

3. Gun Control - Pro 2nd Amendment right to bear arms.
http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul330....
4. The War in Iraq - bring our soldiers home. He's the only one opposed to it before the war began. There were no WMD.
"The war in Iraq was sold to us with false information. The area is more dangerous now than when we entered it. We destroyed a regime hated by our direct enemies, the jihadists, and created thousands of new recruits for them."
5. The Economy/Budget/Deficit - is getting worse with NAFTA, CAFTA and the push for NAU. End income tax and the IRS. End wasteful government spending.
"So called free trade deals and world governmental organizations like the International Criminal Court (ICC), NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and CAFTA are a threat to our independence as a nation. They transfer power from our government to unelected foreign elites."

Yes, he is. If you don't believe me, try reading his program and compare it with the programs of the other candidates. Simply put it out like this: They're no match for him.

not basically that yet peacefully withdraw from Iraq. shrink the prevalent taxes. pay off our debt. Heal our healthcare equipment (he's a physician). stop the Patriot Act. and much greater. If human beings had researched the applicants, they could be extraordinarily intelligent, and likely all can grow to be clever. Ron Paul could be prevailing by ability of plenty. I propose he have been given sixteen% and 2d place in Pennsylvania. For a guy who's not at all on television, that's somewhat solid. while the media gave him a million/2 of the attention as others, he beat them by ability of a minimum of two times the style of followers. In my recommendations, he's already the winner, President Paul.

I think the words quack sum up Ron Paul. The only things that are good on that list is being pro-life and pro 2nd amendment. The other ideas are very flawed. Let's examine them.
2. Immigration. Immigration is vital to our society and economy as a whole. It is immigrant labor that is doing the jobs that Americans do not wish to do, such as janitorial and cooking services. Immigrant labor is generally harder working and less demanding then American labor.
4. Iraq. Bringing the troops home is the 'light at the end of the tunnel.' We are not there yet. Much work needs done in Iraq before that time. We are fighting the terrorists over in Iraq, so they can not come over here to fight.
5. Economy. Free trade is something capitalism is based upon. Any other intervention amounts to socialism. A NAU is not a bad thing. It will allow us to evolve and compete in the global economy that is rapidly outpacing us.
So you see, Ron Paul is not the candidate for the job. We need someone who 'gets it.' Ron Paul simply does not. In my opinion, the guy who does 'get it' is Fred Thompson. He will continue to do what is needed to keep us safe and prospering.

Ron Paul is a NUT. He's a libertarian looney. Do you seriously believe that Congress will go along with eliminating the IRS? His pie-in-the-sky ideas may sound good but so does pure Communism until you look at practicality of it and realize that with human beings such utopian ideas don't work. You are going to be greatly disappointed early next year when your precious god Ron Paul doesn't even garner 10% of the primary votes let alone the nomination for President. Maybe if he runs as a libertarian for the libertarian party he could be on the ballot but I rather doubt the Republican party is that stupid as to run a loser like Ron Paul. Most people, unless they blog, even know who he is. Also it is going to take close to $1Billion to win the presidency in 2008. Can he raise that? If he hasn't gotten a quarter to a third by now he won't .

I don't understand how Ron Paul's intentions would help the working man. He seems to be quite an ideologue, wanting to de-regulate the economy as much as possible without deeply considering the impact; that is, that he believes in de-regulation for de-regulation's own sake.
Ideology bypasses pragmatism.

If I could I would marry a Ron Paul supporter just so that I could vote for him.
I agree on most of his ideas, and would hope that others would at least see what he is about before putting judgement on him.

Thumbs down. No politician has any business whatsoever coming between a pregant woman and her doctor.
STOP GOVERNMENT FROM INTRUDING IN OUR PERSONAL LIVES.
And YOU have clearly not dug very deeply into Ron Paul's past. The man has some...shall we say "odd?"...beliefs about black people.
Don't fall for the hype.
