Even your second string defense should hold them to less than 10 points. MTS only scored 14 on Florida atlantic last week. Nobody plays defense in the big east.

This is just proof that the rankings are crap, look at Florida state, they were ranked 19th, and pretty much got man handled by Clemson. Florida state barely had a winning season, and they sucked last year but got a good ranking to start this year. Even South Carolina had a better year and played tougher teams but where are they, NOT RANKED The system is screwed up.

u cant talk about one team in a conference and let it mean everything from every team in that conference,,, that aint right,,, UL is a good team, but very overrated, Brohm is one hell of a QB, Allen is a great RB, but that defence has a lot to be desired,,,,, the Big East will figure in the National Title game this year though,,, and it will be WVU that will be there,,, and look at the talent in the Big East, 4 Legitimate Heisman contenders what other CONFERENCE can brag about that, so lay off the Big East,,, LOUISVILLE is just overrated thats all

Big East fan here... No, they sure didn't look like a top 10 team last night.

But didn't a "middle of the pack" Big East team beat a "middle of the pack" PAC 10 team 34 to 3 last night. They had to have played some defense.

No way L'vill should be top 10 after last night. MTSU only scored 14 vs. Florida Atl. Louisville can score but they have not been impressive at all in their wins.

If they do not drop out of the Top 10 something is wrong. Imagine what a Top 10 would have done to them last night.

I'd drop them out of the Top 10. Louisville will win a lot of games because of its offense.

No. I'm not so sure they ought to be a Top 20 team. That defense is flat out embarrassing. It will catch up to them sooner or later.

Oklahoma beat Mid-Tenn. 63-0 last year (I think they had over 50 at half-time!) Oklahoma is better this year, they would KILL Louisville!
