We know that the Sonics will be moving to OKC or Kansas City, but what other cities will be the first to get a future NBA Franchise??
Las Vegas, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Tulsa, Fort Worth, San Diego, Mexico City and heck now we have to put Seattle up here too cause they will be without a NBA Franchise soon, but they can still have one later on in the future....so what city first??

Sorry all, but not gonna be Vegas! David Stern has demanded that all U.S. states with NBA franchises and the province of Ontario, Canada, are not to have casinos and lotteries that distribute NBA basketball betting. They do that in Vegas. Check out the link for more...

Also, each division currently have 5 teams a piece. I like that format. If anything, a current team may move to one of those cities and if I had to choose it would be the Tulsa/Oklahoma City area.

Vegas will not get a franchise. 1) they take bets on NBA games. 2) After the ref scandal they most definitely won't go to a betting town.

St. Louis. is my pick

St. Louis and Kansas City have already had teams they couldn't or wouldn't support. Any of those other cities would be fine, but I'll bet David Stern has his eyes on Vegas.

I'd go with Vegas. Tulsa's too small, Pittsburgh and St. Louis aren't basketball towns, Fort Worth won't get one being so close to Dallas, San Diego hasn't supported one in the past, and Mexico isn't a basketball hotbed.

I'd go for Vegas. Las Vegas Hustlers? Las Vegas Gamblers?

after the all-star fiasco and the gambling fiasco .LV will not get any pro team. EVen though in LV you can bet on any local teams anyway. ithink next should be Jax / Tampa area., unless I am missing an NBA team{ magic, heat}
